Playing catch up...

Here are some pictures from Halloween, our trip to Washington and the like. Evelyn was Dorothy and Jaxon was the Cowardly Lion...pretty stinkin' cute if you ask me.

The first three are from a fun bounce house in Spokane, although I think Megan and I had more fun than the kids.

Handsome Boy!

This is one of Evelyn's many Halloween outfits...

Family Renuion

Yet again these last few weeks have been CRAZY in the Shiner household (i am beginning to notice a trend here, perhaps a bit of foreshadowing???) Anyway, we went to a Mortensen Family Reunion in Huntington Beach for two weeks and had an awesome time. For the majority of the time the kids outnumbered the adults. We must have gone to Disneyland six times, the beach three times, little to no naps, late bed times and a TON of candy and ice cream were all involved. A big thanks go out to mom and Dad Mortensen for making everything possible. It truly was an awesome experience; not a day has gone by that Evelyn has not mentioned wanting to go to Disneyland and see the animals (jungle cruise), ride the pink elephant (Dumbo ride), see the world (Small World) and go to Pirates (Pirates of the Caribbean). We also purchased three Disney CD's, and Evelyn only wants to listen to two of the songs, which coincidentally are on two separate discs. The "pirates song", and "it's a world of two's it's a world of two's" (Small World). Here are som of my favorite pictures.

tell me how you really feel

This summer has been quite the busy one for the Shiner fam; especially, it seems, these last two weeks. We have been running around like crazy completing house to-do's and the like, then we went "camping" at Shaver (we thought we were staying at a friends cabin, which in fact turned out to be this gorgeous house in Shaver...no complaints here....). Then my sister came in town, so we basically have been living at my mom's house these last few days in order to maximize our time with Kay and her family. Today must have been the straw that broke the camels back. Evie, Jaxon and I woke up sick, Jaxon had to have shots at the doctor's office, and we basically spent all day in the car taking kids here, shopping with Kay there and mostly taking Jack to and from doctor appointments to try to get everything finalized for his job. Any-who, when we got Jaxon out of the car at the end of the day after a 30 minute screaming fit this is what he looked like...

Summer Shot's

Well, we have had a very busy summer thus far, complete with two camping trips, a trip to Moro Bay and a trip to San Francisco. And, yes, we are somewhat crazy for traveling with a three month old; but Jaxon has been a champ about it. Here are some of our favorite shots.

Jaxon's Blessing

On July 5th we had Jaxon's baby blessing. My sister and her husband came up from Huntington Beach, and Grandma Shiner was in town from Idaho for the occasion; It was a fabulous day. Unfortunatly we didn't get any family photos :( (my fault, I fell asleep at my parents for like 3 hours!), but we did get some cute ones of the baby boy, so here they are. He is so handsome!!! I am in love :)
